Management of further education of academic staff

The topic of the diploma thesis is the management of further education of academic staff at a selected faculty, a part of a university-type university. The aim of the work is to analyze and describe the management system of continuing education of academic staff and to propose improvements in this area. The diploma thesis contains a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part is based on professional literature and deals with the concepts: university, academic worker, lifelong education, adult education, further professional education, corporate education. In the chapter entitled Universities and academic staff we will find the history, meaning and characteristics of universities, clarification of the term academic staff and a description of the competences of a university pedagogue. In the chapter entitled Corporate (company) education, you can find, among other things, areas of vocational training of employees, the system and strategy of corporate education, forms and methods of corporate education, provision of corporate education and approaches to employee development. Proposal of a project of further education for academic staff of selected universities with a humanities focus

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of further education of academic staff of universities with social sciences and humanities. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a project proposal for further education in the field of pedagogical and presentation skills for academic staff of selected humanities universities. This output is preceded by 4 steps. The first partial aim is to describe education and professional competencies of university teachers. The second partial aim is to describe the current system and legislation of higher education in the Czech Republic. The third partial aim is to identify opportunities in the field of further education of university academics. The fourth partial aim is to analyze the needs of academic staff in the field of further education. Building upon a research of literary sources, analysis of documents and legislation, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the field of education, professional competencies of academics, the issue of further education, the higher education system and related legislation defining higher education in the Czech Republic. Tender for the academic staff at the university

The bachelor thesis deals with the description of the selection process for an academic at the university. In the theoretical part, the reader will familiarize with the personnel activities in the organization, including the recruitment of job seekers, pre-selection and selection of workers. This part of the thesis describes the methods of employee selection and the stage of the personnel selection process. The work also defines a college (university) and specifies an academic worker - a college worker. The research part of the thesis focuses on a detailed assessment of the selection process for university graduates. The research was carried out on a sample of public universities in the Czech Republic. Interviews were held with the staff responsible for the selection process at universities (Personnel Department staff). Further knowledge on this issue was gained through direct participation in the selection process for academic staff taking place at some universities. Labor relations academics

Thesis on labor relations academics in its introductory chapters provide a comprehensive overview of the historical development of labor law, legal norms and the development of higher education in the Czech Republic. Further explanation was provided about the sources of law, they have been characterized in detail the different legal standards. The purpose of the above analysis was to create a comprehensive overview a system of labor law. In the fourth chapter, were analyzed in detail types of labor relations to the next chapter was at a particular college, the University of Jan Evangelista in Ústí nad Labem, pointed out how the above-mentioned issue addressed in practice.
